Church Director is focused on bridging the gap between the volunteer and the church. We know that volunteers are the backbone of the local church - they evangelize and make things happen. Our mission is to ensure that the volunteers in your church are cared for by providing tools and process to improve the care and feeding of your volunteers. Our first tool is focused on managing the assignment and scheduling for your church services and special events to reduce under-staffing and make your church experience even better for your visitors and members.
James Higginbotham is the founder and chief architect of Church Director and the president of Blue Jazz LLC, and Austin-based software consulting company focused on startup development. James has been writing his blog, Agile Ministry, which is focused on volunteer management and leadership. James has also written an ebook called Handle With Care, which provides a concise, practical guide to volunteer management and leadership, expanding on the articles posted on the blog.
